In the month of October, we are proud to support Black History Month (BHM), a crucial time to celebrate the rich contributions of Black individuals in the Sussex Football community.

Later this month, we will be working with Brighton & Hove Albion’s Kylrn Brooks-Lynch who will be delivering a coaching masterclass celebrating black history and culture in Sussex. Details of this to follow.

This year, we embrace the theme Reclaiming Narratives. It’s time to take control of our stories, celebrate our heritage, and ensure voices are heard.

This theme is not just about revisiting history; it’s about taking ownership of the stories that define our culture, our contributions, and our very identity.

It’s a call to action for Black communities across the UK to step into the role of storytellers, historians, and custodians of our heritage.
